«So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter: Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him: Yes, Lord; You know that I love You. He said to him: Feed My lambs» (John 21:15).
"We love to receive"
As human beings we are we love to receive, but we are little givers. Being reciprocal has been a very little task for us, especially in a world where we lack that gift. In nature we see great examples: A plant produces fruits, this as a consequence of the care it receives from the work that was invested in it, in the same way we receive good gifts from our Jesus.
"Feed my sheep"
There is only one way of being reciprocal with Jesus, only one thing he request us: "feed my sheep." If you love me you have to do what I ask you, what I want, what I order you ... and what I want is for your brothers to have peace. That is our Mission! The Lord does not want many words ... he doesn't want declarations of love, he wants facts. Jesus demands of us a loving attitude towards others, because there is no other way in which he can feed himself.
On the other hand, the word of God tells us: «Truly I tell you that as soon as you did it to one of these my younger brothers, you did it to me» (Matthew 25:40). This is the mission that the Lord has entrusted to us: "Feed my sheep." In this way, here at Children Mission International we invite you to be part of that "Mission". Be part of that commission that God has entrusted to us.
